so this is it: this’ the sign you been looking for.

those beginning months of 2022 have been like an anxious revision of past years lived. choices made. realities co-created. blessons learned.

and this coming into acceptance of it all,

this shifting regret, resentment, disappointment into resource,

this moving on,

this kinda cellf-love,

this purge,

this prawcess,

all these lil deaths…

had shook me into a mess, more often than i’ve even wanted to admit.

ultimately, i can’t coulda-shoulda-woulda my ass back in time. so we’re here now.

hopefully you took notes too.

cus it’s time…

…to see it more clearly. to aim forward. to write ’em down. to print ’em out from pinterest. to cut ’em out from magazines. to speak ’em in progress not in wishful thinking. to embrace the new. to find genuine support: be it lil’ or a lot. it’s time to stand tall in that idea, or that vision. to try ‘em out. to trust not in ‘em but in our skills, and in our gifts. to flex our backbone. to harness our own creative power. to get off autopilot and be deliberate. to give ourselves permission to take the step, even when we don’t know what we’re doing.

so go for it. let that fire out, but don’t burn out. it’s not about willing desires into existence. it’s not about being impulsive. it’s not about staying booked, and busy. it’s about the experience, about the stimulation, about feeling alive. so give yourself time. ride the momentum, all the while intuitively stepping into breaks.

and again, we can no longer take our abilities so lightly! we all carry somethin’ valuable! yes, having this, that and the third would be more convenient. and as a recovering overthinker, i feel that. remember, like a game, every obstacle is a challenge into our leveling up. so look within, look without: this what you have right now. everything else can be on the way, so don’t be in the way. i know there are countless things that could go wrong. but have you thought about those exhilarating possibilities tho? the fruitful ones? the expansive ones? besides, the present-time is at any give moment, our most precious wealth. 

imagine any child less than a year old that you’ve had the blessing to be around. you ever observe how so easily they say yes to life? how so completely they trust it to unfold in their favor? how they let curiosity guide ‘em with more hope than fear? how courageously they baby step forward. how they surrender to the experience. ye, just like that.

so this is it. this is the sign.

it’s time to just do it. and deep down, you know it.

don’t press yourcells, express ‘em.

2022 is still being written. even today. even right now.
